Equipment

What Does My Child Need to Play?
Getting your player ready for the season is simple! To help them stay safe and enjoy the game, please make sure they have the following personal equipment:
- Baseball helmet (All players are required to wear a NOCSAE-certified double earflap helmet.)
- Baseball glove (How to choose a glove - tip)
- Baseball pants
- Athletic support (jock or jill)
- Footwear (cleats are recommended, but running shoes are okay for younger players age 4 to 6 years old)
- Please note that molded baseball cleats are recommended for all players age 7 and up. Players in the Junior divisions and above have the option to wear metal cleats if they choose.
Each player will receive:
- Team shirt (jersey)
- Team hat
- Bats
- Baseballs
- Catcher’s equipment
Not necessarily. All teams will have bats available for players to use.
If your child prefers to have their own bat, please make sure it meets Little League requirements:
- Must have the USA Baseball certification mark
- Must be the correct size/weight for your child
- USSSA and USSA bats are not allowed

If you’re ever unsure about equipment, don’t hesitate to ask your coach or league representative—we’re here to help! Our goal is to make baseball fun, safe, and accessible for every player.
