Junior
Overview:
Our Junior division is offered for players aged 13 and 14.
At the Junior level we tier our program into 2 levels: Canadian and National. For both the Spring and Summer seasons, teams in our Junior division will play against other similarly tiered teams from across the city (this is called Interlock play).
The Canadian level is for those athletes who have advanced skills at the Junior level. The National level is for those players graduating from Major who are still developing basic baseball skills, or for players who are Junior aged but new to the sport. The goal of both divisions is always Player Development and coaches in both divisons must adhere to fair play rules.
Location and Times:
Home games for the Junior program will be held at Yves Richer park. Because our Junior teams play interlock, games where we are the visiting team can be played at fields across the city.
Due to the number of players at this level, games can be played on any weeknight including Sundays and Fridays, though we try and limit Friday night games as much as possible. Teams at both levels can expect to play 2 games a week with weekend practice also scheduled at the discretion of the coach
Games will begin at 6:00 PM and last for approximately 2 hours
Cost:
The cost for the Junior program is $270
