Minor
Our Minor division is offered for players aged 9 and 10.
For the Spring season, the Minor division will only play their games in Orleans against other Orleans teams. For the Summer Season, both the Minor Canadian and Minor National teams will play against other similarly tiered teams from across the city (this is called Interlock play). In the Spring seasons, our Minor program is tiered into 2 levels: Canadian and National. This allows players to play against other players at similar skill and comfort levels. In the Summer season, we have an additional tier called All-Star. This tier is for our highest skilled atheletes at the Minor level.
The Canadian level is for those athletes who have advanced skills at the minor level. The National level is for those players graduating from Rookie who are still developing basic baseball skills and who are still adjusting to player pitching, or for players who are Minor aged but new to the sport. The goal of both divisions is always Player Development and coaches in both divisons must adhere to fair play rules.
Due to the number of players at this level, games can be played on any weeknight including Fridays, though we try and limit Friday night games as much as possible
